Do not lose heart

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. - 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Help me Lord, not to lose heart. You have called me not to look at the things that are seen, but to focus on the unseen. In all situations. Again, faith. To have faith and strength not to grow discouraged. Thank you for providing scripture for every feeling you've created us to feel. You knew when Paul was writing this letter to the church of Corinth, that I would find so much peace in these words. You are good. May I not lose heart. May You help me to focus on the things that are unseen.
