Lord, thank you for encouraging friends. You provide when I need you the most. You take away my doubt and You speak truth to me through others. Help me to seek you when I doubt and when I have unbelief. Why is my belief so fickle?
How this must hurt you! You have given your son's life. And all you ask me is to have faith. Lord, fill me with faith. I don't want to be like the waves in the ocean. I want to anchor my life to You. Grab ahold of me, and don't let me fall. When I'm walking and not stumbling, I think I can walk by myself because I am prideful. And through Your grace, you show me what life looks like without You. Life without You leads to sin and sadness and the cost is eternity separated from You. I don't want to walk without you. I need you, no matter where I am going.
I have this image of me just holding Your hand for the rest of my life. I don't want to let go.
