I have no control! Hallelujah! This is not my decision to make! I relinquish control over this situation and submit to God's will. I get it - God is revealing this truth to me. It made me fearful 1 week ago, and even yesterday. But I was just given so much peace. This is not my decision. I am called to humbly, prayerfully submit to my God. God will have the final say. God bless, this is not in my hands. Thank you God for giving me this gift of freedom - may you remind me of this truth if I forget or become anxious.
When I become anxious, may I turn to You in prayer. May I turn to your Word. May I not turn to my own feelings. May I not evaluate the situation based on what is going on and what I see. May I see what you want me to see. May I learn what you want me to learn. Take away my pride and my control in this situation. You are powerful and almighty. You move mountains, You stopped the sun, You split the sea, You soften hearts. You are a God of power and I give my control over to you. Fill me with faith and trust in You. For my heart is weak as I learn to trust you again. Please be patient with me. For I want to serve you, but I am a sinner. You love me - remind me of that. Remind me that in your arms is the most joy I will have in this world and in the next. Not in my own understanding, or in someone else's arms, but in Yours.
Your son died for me - that's how much you love me. Remind me Father. When I am sad or lonely. I should never be lonely because you have given me Your Spirit. Fill me with Your Holy Spirt. I love you Lord. Thank you for this peace. For this peace is not based on what is going on - it's trust that You are sovereign. And through everything, Your will will be done. May I seek you all my days, and please Lord remind me that you will never leave my side. May I constantly humble myself and may you FILL me with Your Spirit.
Give me a heart of understanding, compassion, love, forgiveness, self control, gentleness, and kindness. Make me turn away from earthly desires or thoughts. May all of this be through Your strength, and not my own. May I come to You when I am tired and sad. Lord, please help me to read the Bible and hear what You are teaching me. Thank you Lord for your peace and love. And Lord, please fill me with faith.
In Your Heavenly Name - Amen
